What is a Class 3 Mobility Scooter?
Class 3 Mobility Scooters can be used on both the road and pavement. The maximum speed limit of these vehicles is 4mph on the pavement and 8mph on the road. You must be 14 years old or over to drive a Class 3 Mobility Scooter.
How fast does it go?
The Invader is a Class 3 Mobility Scooter and can travel up to 8mph. For the ultimate off-road experience, discover the supercharged version, the Invader Xtreme.
Do I need a driving licence or to pay road tax?
Mobility scooters are not legally defined as vehicles and therefore you do not need a driving licence or road tax. You still need to register your Invader with the DVLA by completing a simple application form. This is included in the Welcome Pack that will be delivered with your Invader.
Do I need to insure the Invader?
Although it is not a legal requirement, we strongly recommended that you hold a valid comprehensive mobility scooter insurance policy. These policies cover your personal safety, other people’s safety, costs towards accidental damage and the value of your mobility scooter.

What does the warranty cover and how long is it for?
As part of the Scooterpac Promise, our products come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty. Unlike other mobility scooter manufacturers, the warranty period begins when the customer purchases the scooter, not the dealer. Items considered to have a limited lifespan, including batteries and tyres, are not covered.
