The core feature of the Multitec is its superb gas-strut operated Tilt-in-Space functionality. With the simple press of a lever on the push handle, an attendant can smoothly and effortlessly adjust the seat angle. This is complemented by a multi-position recline function. This ability to regularly change the user’s position is crucial for redistributing pressure, which helps to maintain comfort and prevent the development of pressure sores, supporting the user’s long-term health.
Enhanced Safety with Attendant Drum Brakes
This version of the Multitec is equipped with powerful, attendant-operated drum brakes. Controlled via levers on the push handles, these brakes allow a carer to confidently manage speed and stop securely, especially when navigating slopes, ramps, or uneven ground. While the attendant has this enhanced control, the user retains their independence, using the hand rims for self-propulsion and speed control, and has access to their own set of push-to-lock parking brakes for security when stationary.
For users who do not require attendant-operated drum brakes, a version of the Multitec is also available with standard parking brakes only.

The Multitec is designed to be tailored to the individual. It is available in three different seat widths (39cm, 44cm, and 49cm) to ensure a perfect fit.
